colour coded resistor and method to identify a colour coded resistor

👉 A colour coded resistor COLOUR CODED RESISTOR  is a type of carbon resistance . There are some coloured circular colour band on its body by which we identify its value in OHM
This type of resistor is used in
Different type of electronic circuits , amplifier etc
The process by which we can identify its value depends on code of different colours , its multiplier , and its tolerance value which  are given below
  Name    number  multipler   T
1-Black             0             10^0    (+/- )
2-Brown           1             10^1
3-Red                2             10^2
4-Orange         3             10^3
5-Yellow          4             10^4
6-Green           5             10^5
7-Blue              6             10^6
8-Violet           7             10^7
9-Grey             8             10^8
10-White        9             10^9
11-Golden                                   5 %
12-Silver                                    10 %
13-No colour                             20%

 Note:-Here " T " is tolerance value .

Now , how can we obtain the value of a resister by its colour
code .

Lets see an example -
Here is a image of colour coded resister

What is its value in "ohm "
That is very simple
Here , for first and second coloured band  we use only number code i.e  here 1st colour is GREEN and 2nd colour is RED so write code of green and red as number are 5 & 2 and third colour is Blue so its decimal multiplier is 10^6 (ten to the power 6) so the value of resistance is 52×10^6 ohm 4th stripe is golden colour and its tolerance is +/- 5 % so it may be 5% high or low , very simple .
So ,u can find very easily the value of a colour coded resistance .

If there is a question - The value of a colour  code resister is 430 ohm , what is the colour code of resister ?
Its answer is very easy here 1st and 2nd numbers are 4 and 3 so first two colours are yellow and orange and its multiplier is 10 or 10^1 so third colour is brown .
Now , you can easily find the value of a colour coded resister .
